  • School Photographs - Monday 12th November 2018

    SCHOOL PHOTOGRAPHS· Monday 12th November 2018 - 8:30am

     

    We have arranged for the children to have school photographs taken on the above date. The photographer will be in school from 8.30am. This year we are working with Academy Photography Ltd professional photographers.

     

    The itinerary for the day is listed below:

    8.00 -9.00am - Family picture with children who do not.attend school i.e. Preschool, Nursery children who do not attend the morning session, Secondary children etc. Please arrive at school promptly to avoid delays
    9.00am.-12.00pm. Family picture (siblings in school only) followed by individual 1.15pm - 3.00pm. Class group & Y6 leaver's pictures.

    To purchase the photographs the prices will range from £5.00 - £50.00 depending on the size you choose.

    Year 6 children will get a chance to have their individual leaver photographs taken, your child will receive a free leavers book and free small print pictures which they can swap with their friends as a memorabilia.

    If you do not wish for your child to take part in the individual photographs, class photograph or the Year 6 leavers photograph please advise the school office in writing by Friday 9th November 2018.

     

  • Non-Uniform Day - 9th November 2018

    We are holding a non uniform day on Friday 9th November, if possible can children wear an item of red clothing for a small donation of £1. This is to commemorate 100 years since the end of World War 1.

     

    All proceeds raised will be donated to the Poppy Appeal.

    We are a close knit community school and the children, staff and governors are seeking to appoint a teacher to work, initially, in our Reception class alongside a full time teaching assistant.

    The successful candidate will need to be an excellent teacher who will enjoy working as part of our school team. We will consider applications from experienced teachers as well as newly and recently qualified teachers.
     

    You will have:

    • The skills required to be an excellent and creative practitioner, with a dedication to secure good and better progress and raise attainment for all children
    • A good knowledge of how young children learn and develop
    • The ability to work as part of a team to plan, teach and assess effectively for the next steps in children’s learning
