  Dear Parents,
  
  Birmingham City Council has agreed to fund free school meal vouchers covering half term week.
  
  We received this email on Friday 23rd October at 6:15 pm.
  
  They have said that they will be making arrangements this week and the vouchers can be provided retrospectively to schools after the half-term break to be distributed to families.
  
  When we receive these vouchers next week, we will contact parents with eligible children.

• Ofsted one-day Interim visit

  Deykin Avenue JI School has been selected by Ofsted for a one-day Interim visit on Tuesday 20th October 2020. The purpose of the visit is for Ofsted to gather information about how schools have responded to Covid-19.

• Year 6 Parents - Important Notice

  Dear Parents,
  
  We have received news this afternoon that one of our Year 6 pupils have tested positive for COVID-19.
  
  Unfortunately, this means that Year 6 children will NOT be able to go back into school tomorrow, and all pupils must remain in isolation for 14 days - this means that the children must NOT LEAVE THE HOUSE.
  
  Further information will be issued tomorrow (19th October).
