  • Intruders on Site over the School Holidays

Wed 14 Apr 2021 Mr Morgan

    Good afternoon everyone,

I hope that you are all enjoying the holiday and Happy Ramadan to all of you who are celebrating this special time. Sadly I have to let you know that the school site had intruders in the past couple of days.

They have stolen the lead from the roof above the Yr 5 & Yr 6 classroom and the new library. Whilst doing so, they have caused substantial damage to the roof tiles and they have removed the lead from the skylights in the hall. We are currently working with contractors to have these areas assessed to ensure that it is safe for the children and the staff. Please be aware that we may have to close the school to some children if it is deemed unsafe to open these areas.

If any parents who are local residents have noticed anything suspicious, please let us know and we will pass the information on to the police. We are also checking our CCTV footage. In the meantime enjoy the rest of the holiday and we will keep you informed via Class Dojo and the school website.

    Thank you for your support.

    Head Teacher
