COMMUNITY TRIP 2018
This year, the school is organising a community trip to the seaside on Saturday 14th July 2018. The details are as follows:
Date: Saturday 14th July 2018
Destination: Barmouth
Timings: Depart Deykin Avenue School at 7.30am
Depart Barmouth at 4.30pm
Cost: £10.00 per child, £10.00 per adult
Who is Eligible: Any parents, children and immediate family from Deykin Avenue School
We hope this will be an enjoyable day out. We have two coaches provisionally booked and therefore we have to limit the tickets to 6 per family and these will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If this is a problem, please come and see me. Children will be not be able to go without adult supervision.
On arrival in Barmouth, parents/carers will be responsible for their own children. Families will be able to go to any of the facilities available.
Seats will be allocated to families on purchase. In fairness to everyone, we cannot reserve places until payment has been made.
The coaches will leave promptly at the given times. Anybody not on the coach at these times, will be left behind. We cannot wait for people as this is not fair on other passengers. The coach company have also informed us that drivers must leave promptly due to legal regulations on the number of hours they are allowed to drive.
There are no toilets on the coaches, but the drivers will make a scheduled stop both going to Barmouth and returning to Deykin Avenue School.
Babies are not allowed to travel on parents’ laps. Young children under the age of 3 years must have an appropriate car/booster seat. It is your responsibility to provide this.
Tickets will go on sale from Wednesday 9th May 2018 and will be available daily. If you would like to come, please bring your return slip and money to the School Office. Please have the correct money. Cheques need to be made payable to Deykin Avenue School Fund. You may pay in instalments. All tickets must be paid for by Friday 15th June 2018. After this date, any money paid will be non-refundable. It will not be possible to book seats after this date.
If we do not receive enough interest in this trip, then unfortunately we will have to cancel and all monies paid will be refunded.
