16. Monitoring quality

 

16.1. The Relationships, Sex and Health Education subject leader is responsible for monitoring the quality of teaching and learning for the subjects.

 

16.2. The Relationships, Sex and Health Education subject leader will conduct subject assessments on a termly basis, which will include a mixture of the following:

  • Pupil conferencing
  • Learning walks
  • Work scrutiny
  • Lesson planning scrutiny

 

16.3. The Relationships, Sex and Health Education subject leader will create annual subject reports for the Headteacher and Governing Board to report on the quality of the subjects.

 

16.4. The Relationships, Sex and Health Education subject leader will work regularly and consistently with the Headteacher and RSHE link governor, e.g. through termly review meetings, to evaluate the effectiveness of the subjects and implement any changes.
